Prabhas at the shooting spot of Jaan
Prabhas's fame rose sky-high when he scored a hit with SS Rajamouli's Baahubali. His next film, Saaho, which was made on a massive budget of nearly Rs 300 crore, failed to rake in profits at the box office. After the debacle of Saaho, Prabhas has been maintaining a low profile.
The actor was supposed to join the sets of his upcoming film Jaan, a few months ago. After a brief hiatus, Prabhas has finally resumed shooting for Jaan, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. He took to Instagram to share the photo, where he is seen looking a huge wall adorned with artistic paintings.
Sharing the photo, he wrote, "Elated to share that I’m resuming shooting for my upcoming film. Looking forward to a fun schedule. (sic)" Reportedly, the shooting is taking place in Hyderabad.
The Mirchi actor was supposed to shoot for the film back in November. Due to unknown reasons, Prabhas didn't cooperate which left the makers a little worried. Reportedly, Prabhas went on multiple vacations to recover from the failure of Saaho.
A huge set has been erected at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad for the current schedule. Jaan is tipped to be a period love story with Prabhas essaying the role of a fortune teller.
According to the latest press release, Jaan is being shot simultaneously in three languages namely Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Further, the film will be dubbed into other languages during release. Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations are jointly bankrolling this film.
