There will be a major attraction as for the first time ever, a live divorce segment will be hosted. Lana and Rusev have filed for this kayfabe divorce, a few weeks ago which might see a culmination.
WWE confirmed the segment during this past Friday Night’s SmackDown that WWE Raw will feature Rusev and Lana’s divorce. Thereafter, it was “finalized” by the arena itself which is using this exceptional segment to move the tickets.
Prior to this, Rusev and Lana also participated in a “King’s Divorce Court” segment on the October 28th episode of WWE RAW hosted by Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler.
This upcoming divorce segment does not indicate that it will be an end to the storyline featuring Lana, Rusev and Bobby Lashley on WWE Raw. Rather, Rusev is expected to face Bobby Lashley at the WWE TLC pay-per-view on December 15th.
So that match should be confirmed during Monday’s go-home edition of RAW for the pay-per-view. They will also be seen in a segment at WWE Tribute to the Troops.
A title match was also announced for WWE Raw. AJ Styles will face WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio on the show with the title hanging on the line.
This will be a rematch between the two from the November 25th episode where Rey won the title from AJ in the first-time matchup. So the former champion is getting this rematch where Rey defends the mid-card title for the very first time.
At this point, AJ Styles is in the middle of a feud against Randy Orton. The Viper RKO-ed AJ out of nowhere during his match with Rey to help the latter one winning the gold for the second time in his career.
AJ was irate about this who might have become even angrier after Orton dropped him with another RKO after last week’s main event on WWE Raw. So it is expected that WWE is building towards a match between Styles and Orton at the WWE TLC pay-per-view.
