If you are usually visiting your bank branch, then this news is working for you, as the banking department of the Ministry of Finance has decided to change the time of state-owned banks.

​ Generally, government banks start functioning from 10 am. The banking division of the Ministry of Finance has decided to open all government and regional rural banks (RBB) from 9 am. In June to open banks, the banking division of the Ministry of Finance held a meeting through video conferencing. In the meeting it was determined that the functioning of banks should be done keeping in view the convenience of the customers.

​ It was approved for a change in the opening hours of the banks. The Indian Banks Association (IBA) gave three options for opening a bank branch in a sub-committee meeting on customer convenience on 24 June. The first option is 9 am to 3 pm, the second option is 10 am to 4 pm. And the third option is from 11 am to 5 pm.
