QAhmedabad: Guj Fishers to Stay Away From Strangers at Sea & More

The Quint

Sunrise: I never liked sunrises since childhood, for they were synonymous to waking up and going to school. Guess, I always hated the monotonous life. But in 2018, I saw the sun rising from beyond the vastness of Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, I saw it dawning upon railway stations which were already overcrowded with boarders, I saw it from hotel rooms and on my way from one city to another. For the first time in my life, I even saw the sun rise on my 20th birthday in a completely different city. It actually seemed funny to me how every morning I had a different mood; one day I complained, one day I was sad, but as soon as the sky turned slightly orangish, even on cloudy days, I smiled. I stared at the sky till the blue was spread all over and the sun started hurting my eyes as if saying, "Why now?" I took my eyes off the majestic view and always, always said, "I don't care if I never liked the sunrises, I know I am thankful from now on, in my own time."
