Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 ABS Launched at Rs 1.39 Lakhs

Yamaha India has launched the with dual channel ABS at an introductory price of Rs 1.39 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. The bike will be available in two colors: Racing Blue and Thunder Grey. The company has introduced a new color in form of Darknight, but it is priced at Rs 1.41 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). For those asking, Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 was launched at the Auto Expo 2018 in February amidst much fanfare and it received overwhelming response as its first year sales doubled up the targeted production.

The initiative to offer dual channel ABS in YZF-R15 Version 3.0 has endowed Yamaha as the trendsetter in the 150 cc class, by introducing it for the first time in the particular segment. Yamaha will continue to optimize the thrill of riding with its style and excitement.”

Yamaha YZF-R15 V 3.0 is the only motorcycle in 150cc segment to come with a dual channel ABS. Besides the introduction of a new color, the bike retains all of its original features like VVA technology and A&S Clutch. Weighing 142 kgs and having a massive 170 mm ground clearance, the new YZF-R15 V 3.0 ABS gets fully digital instrument console, LED head and tail light and an added ABS logo as standard. The dual channel ‘Anti-lock Braking System’ (ABS) technology comes with adjustable fluid pressure which will further be reliable to ensure immediate braking on slippery roads. It is armed with a powerful 155cc engine with high compression ratio resulting in top power of 19bhp at 10000rpm and highest torque of 14.7Nm at 8500rpm.
