The Great Wall Motors, China's largest SUV manufacturer is all set to launch the cheapest electric car of the world in India. The name of this electric car name is Ora R1 and this car is said to be the world's cheapest electric car.
Ora R1 has a range of 351km with the help of a 35kW motor on Full Charge and this is the best range available in this price segment electric cars. Ora R1 price starts from 6.2 Lakh India Rupees and goes up to 8 Lakhs for top-end models. Ora R1 will also come equipped with artificial intelligence features along with connectivity features.The top speed of the car will be around 100 kmph.
Ora R1’s rivals in the Indian market would be Hyundai Kona, Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and Renault’s Zoe.
