WWE Raw Preview (04/10/19) Brock Lesnar, Survivor Series Hypes

With Crown Jewel behind in the WWE schedule, it is time to move forward to the next big event that emanates within three weeks of time. It will be the 33rd annual Survivor Series PPV event on November 24th for which buildups have already started on SmackDown. NXT has fired the first shot to start a brand war that culminates in the PPV show. It will be interesting to see whether WWE Raw roster members can backfire on tonight.

Another big news heading into the show is that Brock Lesnar is back on the flagship show. He is also bringing the most prestigious WWE Championship alongside him on the show. Rey Mysterio is his next target after what transpired at Crown Jewel.

Also, we expect fallouts from last week’s make-out session between Bobby Lashley and Lana on tonight’s WWE Raw that takes place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York City.

WWE kept the brand vs. brand theme intact for the annual Survivor Series PPV event. In fact, they made it even bigger by involving the NXT brand to the mix. As seen on this , Triple H entered the main roster with his band to take things over which was the first shot towards the so-called big names.

The expectation is that some of the NXT members will be in attendance on WWE Raw, too to make a sudden impact. It will continue the storyline towards Survivor Series as well as give some hints for the marquee matchups on the PPV match card. But the big question is whether the main roster names can retaliate against NXT’s attack.

There’ll be a massive change in the championship picture on WWE Raw as the Universal title is no more present on the show. Bray Wyatt has won the title at Crown Jewel and took it to the SmackDown brand alongside him.

Instead, WWE Raw will have the WWE Championship on the show with the title-holder Brock Lesnar returning. As seen on SmackDown, he decided to quit the show just in the persuasion of Rey Mysterio who is on the red brand.

The storyline was that Brock Lesnar asked Vince McMahon for a match against Rey Mysterio after the beating he received at Crown Jewel. McMahon could not grant it because WWE Superstars are contractually obligated to their respective brands.

This led an irate WWE Champion to quit the blue brand, by himself. Now WWE has confirmed his presence on WWE Raw who is also reportedly a member of the roster. This is certainly not good news for Rey Mysterio who has the fear of suffering another beatdown.

The finishing segment of last week’s WWE Raw witnessed Bobby Lashley and Lana making out once again in front of a laid-out Rusev. The Bulgarian Brute has been able to get his hands on Lashley for sometimes which certainly was not enough to quench his thirst. So there could be more chaos between them once the show airs tonight.

In the women’s division, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch secured a win over Kairi Sane, last week. But her eyes are set to seek redemption against the other half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka.

She made it clear that she won’t take rest until and unless she gets her hands on the Empress of Tomorrow. Could tonight she do so? We’ll find out answers when WWE Raw airs from New York City.
