WWE Raw Preview (02/12/19)-Seth Rollins Apology, Handicapped Match

Following the brand vs. brand war at Survivor Series PPV, the storylines have begun eyeing the next big event in line named WWE TLC. Last week, WWE Raw ended in a shocking fashion where Seth Rollins indicated a heel-turn by attacking Kevin Owens for nothing.

In the midst of rumors surrounding his character, The Architect is now set to address the WWE Universe on tonight. This is going to be the headliner segment for the show.

A huge match has been confirmed for WWE Raw featuring Charlotte Flair. She will compete in a handicap match after the inadvertent loss to Asuka, last week. We expect new rivalries to begin in the mid-card title scenario now that Rey Mysterio is the new US champion.

Also, there must be a fallout from the Rusev-Bobby Lashley situation when the show airs from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The main event match from last week’s WWE Raw witnessed Seth Rollins taking on Kevin Owens that ended in a disqualification. Authors of Pain attacked Owens for no reason teasing an alliance with The Architect.

Earlier that night, Rollins blamed both Owens and AOP for the disastrous performance of Team Red at Survivor Series.

Apparently, it was a mental breakdown point for Seth Rollins when he hit The Stomp on Owens on two occasions. Going by his Twitter account, he might be feeling sorry for his misdeed who is now looking forward to issuing an apology.

As reported by WWE.com, the former Universal Champion is set to ‘extinguish all the bridges he potentially burned down’ on WWE Raw. The interesting segment is potentially going to be solidifying the heel-turn of the new number one heel of the company whereas Owens will replace him on the spot.

In the Women’s division, Charlotte Flair will be having the number-games against her, once again. As confirmed by WWE’s official website she is set to take on both the female tag champs in a handicap match,

“Charlotte Flair has felt Asuka’s dreaded poison mist twice now, but the challenge that awaits her this Monday night might be even an even graver proposition.

The Queen will collide with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in a 1-on-2 Handicap Match on Raw. Can Flair overcome the odds and best Asuka & Kairi Sane? Or will The Kabuki Warriors continue to pave their unbelievable path of destruction?”

The Queen has already suffered the toxic green mist on her face to come up short in matches against Asuka. Perhaps, she will end up digesting the same again. But we expect the WWE Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch to come down to make the save and set up a bigger matchup.

The speculation is that Lynch and Flair will team up at TLC against Asuka and Sane and tonight’s happening should work to begin the storylines.

Tonight’s WWE Raw takes place in Nashville which is home to Rusev and Lana. So, it’s almost evident that they will receive a big segment on the show. It was last week, that Rusev hurt Lashley using part of WWE’s ramp setup sending him to a hospital.

Last night at WWE Starrcade, Rusev continued the assault on Lashley with a steel chair. It’s evident that the feud is not over and they will set up the first matchup of this feud at with an additional gimmick.

Rey Mysterio won the United States Championship via help from Randy Orton, last week. This has already planted the seeds of a potential feud between Orton and Styles.

The OCs have their target set for The Viper as stated by them on WWE Raw. So they will be looking forward to hunting him down. As for the new US title-holder, we expect WWE will find a new opponent against him.
