It does not surprise us that we will not see Brock Lesnar in the upcoming weeks. However, WWE’s current bookings gave some surprising hints that he will appear on WWE Raw in this month. He was about to resurface once Elimination Chamber would be over. But now it looks like his next appearance will happen one month later.
Initially, WWE was advertising Brock Lesnar for the February 18th edition of WWE Raw. This will be the post-Elimination Chamber episode, next week that might have started his Road to Wrestlemania angle with Seth Rollins. But now this appearance is no more on the card. Rather, he will show up on a Chicago edition of WWE Raw.
Here’s more update from wwfoldschool.com,
“WWE was advertising Lesnar for the February 18th (post-Elimination Chamber 2019 edition of RAW) and February 25th episodes of RAW, but he has been removed from these shows. Lesnar’s next RAW appearance is now scheduled to take place on the March 18th episode in Chicago, IL.”
The source added that this current schedule might get updated in due course. Brock Lesnar needs to make a few appearances more to hype up the Universal Championship match at Wrestlemania 35. So he should make at least one more show-up i.e. final WWE Raw episode before WrestleMania 35 on March 31st.
Brock Lesnar only works in some of the selected dates in a calendar year. His last match took place at the Royal Rumble PPV against Finn Balor. He retained the Universal Championship in this match executing his finishing moves, successfully. The next match for him will happen on April 7th at WrestleMania 35 against Men’s Royal Rumble 2019 winner, Seth Rollins.
The current challenger of the Universal Championship suffered a vicious attack from his hands, the night after Royal Rumble. Not one but six F-5s were waiting for him from the beast incarnate that set up an injury storyline for him. We don’t expect him to be back in action for the time being until Brock Lesnar returns on WWE Raw.
The Conqueror is holding the Universal Championship on WWE Raw since November 2nd. On that night he defeated Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel to win the prime title on WWE Raw for the second time. Following Royal Rumble, we will not see him competing at Elimination Chamber 2019 & FastLane 2019. He will enter straight at Wrestlemania for the next title defense.
