Vodafone, Idea and Airtel, Removes FUP Limit on Voice Calls for All Unlimited Prepaid Plan

Vodafone-idea and Airtel have announced to provide some relief to their consumers amidst frequent changes in the telecom sector. Significantly, from December 3, these three companies increased their tariff plans by 42%. Due to this, consumers had to spend more money on every recharge plan than before. There was considerable disappointment among consumers after the decision taken by the telecom companies.

Apart from increasing the price of all their plans, They also scrapped unlimited calling service on other networks. It is to be noted that earlier this, Reliance Jio started charging 6 paise per minute for unlimited calling on any other network.

After which the new tariff plan was implemented, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea also started charging their consumers at 6 paise per minute for making calls to other telecom networks like Reliance Jio. Even after the decision taken by the company, there was huge disappointment among the consumers.

In view of the huge disappointment among the consumers, Firstly telecom company Airtel scrapped its plan. Soon after, Vodafone and Idea also announced that their consumers will now be able to avail unlimited voice calling on any telecom network. Due to which consumers will now get the benefit of unlimited voice calling as before, although Reliance Jio is still charging 6 paise per minute.
