Virender Sehwag Trolls Himself In A Funny Tweet For Aryabhatta

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag is well known to come up with cheeky tweets on his Twitter handle. This time around the former Indian opener took a dig at himself as he recalled the day when he scored a king pair against England in Birmingham. Sehwag stated that he traveled for two days and fielded for 188 overs but could not trouble the scorers.

Sehwag didn’t get a chance to play in the first two Test matches on the England tour of 2011-12. The right-hander was able to get his opportunity in the third Test match but failed to make an impact with the bat.

England skipper Andrew Strauss had won the toss in that match and had elected to bowl first. India could only manage to score 224 runs in the first essay with Sehwag bagging a golden duck. Sehwag was dismissed by Stuart Broad. India’s captain MS Dhoniwas the top-scorer in the first innings as he scored 77 runs.

Subsequently, England posted a gargantuan score of 710 runs in the first dig which helped them take a massive lead. England’s opener Sir Alastair Cook scored a mammoth knock of 294 runs as he batted at the top of his game. England’s current white-ball skipper Eoin Morgan also scored a fine hundred in the same match.

On the other hand, India once again could not deliver the goods with the bat as they scored 244 runs. Sehwag was this time dismissed by James Anderson on the first ball he faced. England won that match by a big margin of an innings and 242 runs.
