A bit of change is an interesting idea and trying new options to look different is even better! Heat can damage the hair to a great extent and not to forget the sweat and paining arms while holding the rod for hours. Here are some nonheating ways to curl your hair and make them look more natural.

Scrunching will give you natural curls, making it wavy or curly, depending upon the hair texture. Wash your hair with volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Do not dry it completely, when they are still damp, take some gel or mousse and start scrunching your hair with it. Do not apply it on the roots, your hair will look greasy. Just scrunch it like you crumple a piece of paper. Your curls are ready!

Pin Curls

This age-old method will never go out of fashion. All you have to do is pin the curls before you go for sleep and wake up with gorgeous curls in the morning. Take an inch section of your hair and roll it on your finger. Remove your finger and secure the loop with a bobby pin. Do this with all your hair but make sure to secure it with bobby pins. Cover your hair with a scarf and go to bed. In the morning, remove all the pins gently and use some hair spray for extra hold.

The easiest way to get beachy waves is braiding your hair. Part your hair and braid it up. Use elastic bands so that the braids are secured and your hair does not frizz out. You have to keep the braids over night to get perfect waves in the morning. These waves will last long if you use hair spray.
