KTM 390 Adventure
This adventure bike of KTM has been waiting for a long time in India. The bike is scheduled to be launched early next year. The adventure tourer is based on the company's 390 Duke motorcycle platform. Its engine is also 373.2cc given in 390 Duke, which generates 44 hp power and 37 Nm torque.
The KTM 390 adventure will feature features like disc brakes on both sides, dual channel ABS, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and long travel suspension. The much-awaited adventure bike is expected to be priced around Rs 3 lakh.
TVS Zeppelin 220
The concept of this TVS cruiser bike was introduced at the 2016 Auto Expo. It will be launched early next year. This bike will compete with Bajaj Avenger and Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. Coming in a modern and sporty design, this bike will get LED headlamps, digital instrument cluster, wide handlebar and comfortable riding position.
In this new TVS cruiser, the bike will have a 220 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine, based on the Apache RTR 200 4V engine. This engine generates 20 hp power and 18.5 Nm torque. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. The price of this new cruiser bike is expected to be around Rs 1.25-1.3 lakhs.
Husqvarna Svartpilen 401
KTM-owned company Husqvarna is about to debut in India with its two bikes - the Vitpilen 401 and the Svartpilen 401. It is likely that Svartpilen 401 will be launched first. It will also have a 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine with a KTM 390 Duke. The model to be launched in India will have rear tire hanger with sari guard and number plate holder. The international model of the bike features side indicators in the tire hugger, while the upcoming models in the Indian market feature indicators below the tail lamps. The bike will get disc brakes and dual-channel ABS on both sides. Launched early next year, the price of this bike is expected to be around 3 lakh rupees.
