Ken Scott and Dhanush
Dhanush's foreign film The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir has received good reviews in Spain, according to director Ken Scott. The director of the comedy-drama took to Twitter to celebrate the success of the film.
The Tamil actor has struck a chord with the audience abroad. Fernando Garcia of Spanish daily La Vanguardia, wrote, "Ken Scott combines fantasy, realism and Bollywood-style dances to sweeten stories about the harsh existence of immigrants and the vicissitudes of hustlers."
The fans of Dhanush are now impatiently waiting for the release of the Tamil version - Vaazhkaiya Thedi Naanum Poraen.
Based on the book by Romain Puértolas, the film is about an Indian street magician's journey to Paris. The film deals with the problems of immigrants across the world. Going by the reviews, the film, despite handling a rather sensitive and gloomy subject, seems to be filled with light-hearted humour.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is busy wrapping up his film with director Vetrimaaran. Titled Asuran, the film has the Tamil star playing dual roles.
