Steve Smith And Pat Cummins Retain Their Top Position ICC Test Rankings

Australia cricketers Steve Smith and Pat Cummins have retained their top position in the latest released MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings. The star players held their position despite Australia going down to England in the fifth Test by 135 runs in London.

Smith, who has been unstoppable in the recently concluded Ashes reclaimed his no 1 position from Virat Kohli after the second Test. He consolidated his position taking his tally of points to 937 in the fourth Test. And now has held onto it after scoring 103 runs in the final match of the series.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins too is well clear of other bowlers. He currently enjoys a lead of 57 points over second-placed Kagiso Rabada after finishing as the top wicket-taker with 29 scalps which saw Australia retain the Ashes for the first time since 2001.
