that released earlier this year left all the fans emotionally exhausted as it saw everyone's favourite, Iron Man aka Tony Stark sacrificing himself to save the universe from the mad titan Thanos and his entire army. Soon, there were speculations from fans that started doing the rounds as to how Tony Stark might still be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many fan theories suggested that Tony might return as an Artificial Intelligence in Spider-Man: Far From Home. In fact, when Edith was introduced in Spider-Man: Far From Home, many thought that Tony might be the AI in it but that was not the case.
However, it now looks like Marvel fans were somewhat right in speculating that Tony will turn into an AI. According to a recent report, the good news for the all fans is that Robert Downey Jr might be heading back to the MCU. The report states that Marvel Studios is planning a web show on Disney+ called Riri Williams’ Ironheart. And Robert Downey Jr is expected to provide voiceover as the AI of the suit. Similar to what J.A.R.V.I.S. and later F.R.I.D.A.Y. for Tony Stark.
For those unaware, Riri Williams’ Ironheart is about a teenage genius who takes forward Iron Man's legacy. Robert Downey Jr himself had stated recently that he'd love to see the Iron Man character continue in some capacity, so, Ironheart seems like the perfect way.
Though before fans jump the gun, this piece of news should be taken with a pinch of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios. In fact, Ironheart show itself hasn't been announced by the studio yet. So, even if Robert Downey Jr does make a return via voiceover, it will still take years as the slate of MCU is filled with other movies and shows.
