“Realme confirmed that it would be present at the MWC 2020, where it is expected to launch the alleged Realme X50 Pro with Snapdragon 865 chipset”
Realme X50 is the company’s sole 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 765G SoC that is only available in China currently. There have been no indications that the phone will be launching in India, and in a new episode of #AskMadhav on YouTube, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has teased something “bigger and better” than the Realme X50 would be launching in India. Sheth said that fans should “stay tuned for Realme at MWC” in February as the company is expected to announce a Snapdragon 865-powered 5G smartphone. This could be the Realme X50 Pro that has been in the news for some time now. 91mobiles has also exclusively revealed that this Snapdragon 865-powered Realme phone will be launching in India soon after its MWC 2020 debut.
The Realme Snapdragon 865-powered phone is expected to launch in India in Q1 2020, but can be pushed to early Q2 if plans don’t work out. Going by the leaked AnTuTu scores, it is shaping out to be the most powerful smartphone on the market with high-end hardware. It is said to come with a punch-hole design on the front and have dual-mode 5G connectivity. Considering that there’s no 5G infrastructure in India yet, Realme could bring a standard 4G LTE model to the country.
Since Realme had also confirmed to be working on a 108MP camera phone recently, the Realme X50 Pro could have it on board, but its a mere speculation at the moment. Since the MWC 2020 event is just a month away from now, we should come across more details and possibly renders of the said Realme X50 Pro.
