Priyanka & Farhan Reaches Toronto for ‘The Sky Is Pink’ world premiere at TIFF

Amidst a huge buzz in the media, the film The Sky is Pink has finally reached Toronto for the prestigious film festival. The lead actors Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and the director Sonali Bose reached the location and were seen walking on the red carpet for the guests at the Toronto International Film Festival yesterday. The actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas was seen contrasting with her life as she said to the media while filming this movie.

She said it was a different experience while working for the movie the experiences she has obtained while playing the given character in the movie was very much different. The film is in Hindi and it deals with the story of a teenager called Aisha played by Zaira Wasim who faces some serious medical ailment and then she decides to be a motivational speaker for the world. It talks about the emotional and practical relationship struggle of the teenager.

While talking about the character, she said that she was getting married at that time and doing this film after it was an interesting experience. She said that she has read the book on Aisha Chaudhury who died in the year 2015 and it was a wonderful experience playing this character of a real-life story. Farhan Akhtar while commenting on the film said that he needed a strong character to play in any film which he has got with The Sky Is Pink. Interestingly, the director Sonali Bose also lost her teenage son in the US.
