- Motorola is bringing a new One series phone with a pop-up selfie camera.
- This phone comes with a Snapdragon 675 chipset and 4GB RAM.
- The One series phone could come to India and other global markets soon.
Motorola has been quite active lately in the midrange smartphone space with its One series phones and most of them have earned good reviews. The One Vision and One Action have shown that Motorola knows how to differentiate between its products for a unique offering. With rumours of a Motorola One Macro launching soon, Motorola's lineup is expected to become more exciting. However, there's another One series device in the pipeline and it could also launch soon in India.
A bunch of images showing an unreleased Motorola One series phones have been floating around the Internet and from what we see, it could be the flagship offering from the Lenovo-owned brand this year. There's no name to this phone but it seems that this could be a slightly affordable version of the Motorola One Zoom that was launched internationally a few weeks ago.
The leaked images show the Motorola One phone with a pop-up selfie camera - a first for Motorola. The pop-up camera means that there's no notch or hole-punch cutout on the display, which also translates to an uninterrupted screen experience. It could use an LCD screen as there's a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Since we spoke about the fingerprint sensor, it's interesting to see Motorola offering a notification LED ring around it, which already looks cool from the images. At the back, the camera module is mounted to the left corner with the module seemed to have a design inspiration from the Vivo V15 Pro. The best part is that the main camera will have a 64-megapixel sensor, which could probably be the Samsung sensor.
The rear also appears to have a glass back with a beautiful gradient in blue. The phone also seems to get the new Motorola branding. On the side, there's a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.
However, the leak reveals more than just photos of this device. Expected specifications of the device have also been revealed and it seems to be on par with the Motorola One Zoom. The phone will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display at the front. At its heart will be a Snapdragon 675 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device will come with Android 10 out-of-the-box and will be kept alive by a 3600mAh battery.
For the cameras, there will be a 64-megapixel main camera with F1.8 lens and an 18-megapixel secondary camera (possibly a wide-angle camera) at the back. The pop-up shooter will use a 32-megapixel sensor with F2.0 lens.
Given that Motorola is serious with the One series phones, this could come in as the flagship offering from the brand in several markets. If this comes to India, it could go up against the likes of Realme XT and the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro.
