Makeover of suji/rava cheela to increase taste

  1. Semolina(suji)- 250 gram
  2. Tomato- 2
  3. Onion- 2
  4. Green chili- 2
  5. Curd- 3 tbsp
  6. Peanut powder- 3 tbsp
  7. Coriander leaves
  8. Water- 1 glass
  9. Fennel seeds- 1 tbsp
  10. Salt- 1 tsp or according to taste
  11. Butter/oil
  12. Water- 1 glass


  1. Add water, salt and curd in semolina, mix it well.
  2. Rest it for 5-10 minutes.
  3. After than add Coriander leaves, fennel seeds, peanut powder, chopped green chili and mix it well.
  4. Now add chopped onion and tomato.
  5. Batter is ready.
  6. Spread the butter on a hot pan and pour the batter on it.
  7. Shape the batter as you want and cook both side for five minutes on low flame.
  8. Enjoy the super tasty, light and healthy semolina pancake.
  9. Serve it hot with your favorite dip.


  1. You can add other chopped vegetables like cabbage, capsicum, carrot etc according to your taste.
  2. You can use refined oil in place of butter, but butter increase its taste.
  3. If your batter is so thin then you can add some flattened rice (poha).
