Liverpool have been given a boost after goalkeeper Alisson Becker returned to light training at the club's Melwood base.
The Brazil international has been sidelined since the opening game of the season, where he tore a calf muscle during a 4-1 victory over newly promoted Norwich.
Summer signing Adrian has been deputising ever since, and starred in the UEFA Super Cup showdown with rivals Chelsea in Istanbul.

Jurgen Klopp's side have retained a 100 per cent record in Alisson's absence, winning each of their matches to sit top of the Premier League with 12 points from four games.
Alisson's return comes during the international break, allowing the Liverpool medical staff to dedicate more attention to his rehabilitation process.
At present no official return date has been set down for the goalkeeper.

Alisson has been keeping fans updated with his recovery via social media, and uploaded a short clip of his Melwood return on Thursday.
In the footage, Alisson could be seen working on a footwork drill through cones and captioned the post: 'Starting the morning in a good way!'
The Reds host Newcastle at Anfield after the international break, as Steve Bruce's side travel to Merseyside.
During a recent press conference, prior to victory over Burnley, Klopp admitted Alisson would 'take time' to return to match fitness and insisted no rushed decisions would be made.
