KTM has revealed the 390 Adventure at the EICMA 2019 in Milan, Italy. Based on KTM 390 Duke, the new KTM 390 Adventure offers the riders a mix of touring and light offroading.
KTM 390 Adventure is powered by the same engine that is available with KTM 390 Duke. It is a 373 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 43 hp and 37 Nm of peak torque. The motor is offered with a 6-speed transmission. There is a slipper clutch as well.
KTM 390 Adventure comes with a grid pipe tubular frame. The suspension duties are performed by 43 mm USD front forks having 170 mm travel and a monoshock at the rear with 177 mm travel. It gets a 19-inch tyre at the front and a 17-inch unit at the rear. There is a 320 mm disc at the front, while the rear has a 230 mm disc. The bike also features dual-channel ABS.
So far as features are concerned, KTM 390 Adventure gets LED headlamp, TFT display, aluminium handlebar and bipartite seat. The fuel tank spoilers and the rear side panel have been positioned slightly wider than the seat. We are expecting the new KTM 390 Adventure to be launched soon in India and though there is no official announcement yet, the bike-maker might price 390 Adventure between Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
Other than 390 Adventure, KTM also showcased 1290 Super Duke R and 890 Duke R at the EICMA 2019 in Milan, Italy.
