Ever since it emerged that the Bollywood’s power couple Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor will soon be shifting their base from Juhu to south Mumbai’s Worli to become the neighbours of Amabnis, the former has found herself under a considerable spotlight with many often comparing her with Shloka Mehta, the daughter-in-law of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. From their expensive taste for footwears to their lack of obsession for makeup, many have detected quite an uncanny similarity between Mira and Shloka.
Now, netizens are going crazy with the emergence of two throwback photos of both Mira and Shloka. This was after some of Mira’s fans shared an old photo of her going out for a dinner date with husband Shahid in February this year. Dressed in a white shirt and a black wrap-around mini skirt, Mira made no stone unturned in making a powerful style statement. She paired her bottoms with a white button-down shirt featuring a bright pink cartoon print.
No sooner did Mira’s latest photo flaunting her party outfit emerge, many produced another photo of Shloka in an equally stylish party dress. Often known for her ethnic dress sense, Shloka looked nothing less than a diva in her red playsuit. The photo of Shloka, however, did not appear to have been taken recently. She may have been clicked with her Mom before her marriage with Akash Ambani when she was out and about shopping.
Not too long ago, Mira Rajput was seen stepping out for gym while wearing the luxe brand Balenciaga’s basic leather flat pool slides. The cost of her footwear, according to a report by Times of India, was a whopping $500 or Rs 34,340.
In July this year, Shloka, who married Nita Ambani’s son Akash Ambani in March, was seen wearing an equally expensive pair of heels when she attended the retirement party of former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh. When she attended the party with husband Akash, people could not stop noticing her Sophia Webster’s iconic butterfly heels, which was believed to have cost the Ambani bahu Rs 80,000.
Last month, Mira had earned plaudits for nailing the no-makeup look of Shloka.
