Yesterday, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor had revealed that it will be launching the Honor 20 Lite smartphone on Oct. 22. The smartphone is now up for reservations on Jingdong Mall. The reservations page on the retailer site has the images of the three color editions of the Honor 20 Lite.
The Honor 20 Lite will be releasing in three colors in China such as Blue Water Jade, Magic Night Black and Icelandic Fantasy. The reservations will continue until Oct. 22 on JD.com. The images of the phone reveal that the handset will be sporting a display with waterdrop notch. The chin of the device is a bit thick.
The back panel of the Honor 20 Lite has a vertical triple camera system at its top-left corner. The fingerprint sensor is not placed on the rear as it is embedded under the display of the device. The right edge of the phone features a volume rocker and a power button.
Honor 20 Lite Specifications
The TENAA appearance of the smartphone has revealed that it has a 6.3-inch OLED display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. While the rumor mill is claiming it features Kirin 810, a reliable tipster from China has claimed that it is fueled by the Kirin 710 chipset. The handset is expected to release in China in RAM variants like 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB. It may release in storage choices such as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. The handset will have a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Android 9 Pie OS will come preloaded on the Honor 20 Lite along with the latest edition of EMUI 9. The rear shell of the phone is fitted with a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system and a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The handset has a 4,000mAh battery. It is expected to arrive with support for up to 20W rapid charging.
