HTC is back in India. After maintaining silence for almost a year HTC is back in the Indian smartphone business with the HTC Wildfire X today. The HTC Wildfire X launches in India for starting price of Rs 9,999. This price is for the base model of smartphone that packs 3GB RAM + 32GB storage. There's another model of the HTC Wildfire X that comes with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and this one costs Rs 12,999.

The HTC Wildfire X will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart starting August 22 in India. The smartphone comes in one attractive colour -- Sapphire Blue. Notably, these prices (Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999) are limited period price and are subjected to change. Flipkart listing shows Rs 10,999 as the price of the base 3GB RAM model and Rs 13,999 as the price of 4GB RAM model.

In terms of specs, the HTC Wildfire X comes packed with a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS waterdrop display with 88.8 per cent screen to body ratio. The phone comes with three cameras on the back that includes 12 MP primary sensor, 8 MP 8x hybrid Zoom lens + 5 MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone includes an 8MP selfie shooter.

On the hardware front the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone comes with 256GB expandable memory. On the software front, the phone runs Android 9 Pie. It is backed by a 3300mAh battery with AI technology, 10W Charging, and USB Type -C support. The phone also includes a fingerprint sensor.
