GATE 2020 application: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, opened the correction window for GATE application form 2020 on the official website, appsgate.iitd.ac.in on October 15. The form correction process allows the candidates to make only minor corrections such as name, father's name, college name etc. As per the latest information, IIT Delhi is all set to open web portal for corrections in details like exam city, exam paper, category and gender in due course of time.

The schedule for the same will be notified on the official website of GATE 2020. Candidates who wish to change their examination centre for the GATE 2020 exam will be required to pay an additional fee.

GATE 2020 application form correction online: Steps for correction

  • Log in to GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS)
  • Enter username and password
  • There has been no official mention that the changes in the application would be chargeable. However, previously the applications were not allowed to be edited.

It is anticipated that the GATE 2020 admit cards will be issued on January 03, 2020.

The admit cards for GATE 2020 would be released on January 3, 2020, and the examination would be conducted on February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020.
