Cristiano Ronaldo made yet more history as he scored four goals in Portugal's 5-1 victory over Lithuania in Euro 2020 qualifying on Tuesday night.
Playing in his 161st international, the 34-year-old notched his eighth hat-trick for his country to help them through what had threatened to turn into a frustrating evening.
Ronaldo broke the deadlock from the spot in the fifth minute and in doing so scored against his 40th international team.

A fortuitous deflected strike from outside the box was followed by a predatory close-range finish, Ronaldo extending his career hat-trick record to 54.
He wasn't done there, the former Real Madrid and Manchester United man finishing off a counter-attack in the 76th minute to make it four with his 93rd goal for his country.
He becomes the first European player to reach 90 with only Iran’s Ali Daei (109) having ever managed more international goals.
The quadruple also saw Ronaldo break Robbie Keane's record of goals in Euro qualifiers, moving one clear of the Irishman's total of 23.
